Does the Apex Credit Card give free airport lounge access?

The Apex Credit Card gives 4 complimentary domestic lounge visits a year, usually capped at 1 per quarter. International lounge visits are capped at 8 a year. Access is not automatic any more, because you need ₹35,000 of spend in the previous quarter before the visits become available, which is ₹11,667 a month.

What changed on the Apex Credit Card recently and is it still worth it in 2026?

RBL portfolio-wide: reward-exclusion expansion (Oct 2024), spend-based lounge (Jul 2025), reward-point cut. The changes are dated Oct 15, 2024; Jul 2025. At ₹3L of yearly spend the card returns roughly ₹3,000 at its general rate of about 1%, against a ₹1,000 renewal fee. That clears the fee, but not by much, so it is worth keeping only while your spending stays in the accelerated category.
