The joining fee is ₹0 plus GST and the renewal fee is ₹1,000 plus GST. There is no spend based waiver on this card, so the ₹1,000 is a fixed yearly cost you pay regardless of how much you spend.

How much cashback does the Apex Credit Card give?

You get 2% back on Flights, Hotels, Shop & Vouchers on RBL Bank Rewards Portal. Other eligible spends earn 1%. On ₹10,000 of spend in the top category that is ₹200 back, so about ₹2,400 a year if you hit it every month. Fuel, Utilities, Insurance, Quasi-Cash earn nothing at all.

Does the Apex Credit Card give free airport lounge access?

The Apex Credit Card gives 4 complimentary domestic lounge visits a year, usually capped at 1 per quarter. International lounge visits are capped at 8 a year. Access is not automatic any more, because you need ₹35,000 of spend in the previous quarter before the visits become available, which is ₹11,667 a month.

At ₹3L of yearly spend the card returns roughly ₹3,000 at its general rate of about 1%, against a ₹1,000 renewal fee. That clears the fee, but not by much, so it is worth keeping only while your spending stays in the accelerated category.
