Airtel Axis Bank Credit Card₹15,000. Axis accepts FDs from ₹15,000 to ₹25 lakh, and users report a limit of about 80% of the deposit.
MY Zone Easy is for someone with no credit history, or no income papers, who can park ₹15,000 or more in an Axis Bank fixed deposit. You get a card against that FD, and if you pay it on time for a few months, you build a credit score, and users say an offer for an unsecured Axis card often follows.
It is not a rewards card, and it is not the regular MY Zone. That second point causes most of the complaints about it.
Axis sells two cards with nearly the same name. The regular MY Zone is an unsecured card with Sony LIV, Swiggy discounts and lounge visits. MY Zone Easy lists no Sony LIV or Swiggy perks, and we could not confirm any lounge access. What it has:
Seven threads in our sentiment report come from people who expected the regular MY Zone perks and got Easy. If you see "4 lounge visits a year" or Sony LIV on a review, it is describing the other card. Check that your application screen says "MY Zone Easy" before you lock your FD.
Axis accepts an FD of ₹15,000 to ₹25 lakh. Do not expect the limit to equal the deposit. One holder got a ₹16,000 limit on a ₹20,000 FD, and users commonly report about 80%. Ask Axis for the ratio before you top up the FD for a bigger limit.
The same holder got a Visa card when they wanted RuPay. Easy is issued on Visa or Mastercard, so it cannot be used for UPI payments. Some users also hit failed online payments right after activation; one fixed it by enabling online transactions on the linked account's settings.
The joining and annual fees are ₹500 + GST each, about ₹590. There is no spend-based waiver. The base rewards are low, so the fee is paid back mainly by movie tickets: two ₹600 tickets a month at 25% gives ₹300 back, which covers the fee in two months.
The pattern users describe is simple. Use the card lightly, pay the full bill each month for 3 to 6 months, and watch the Axis app for pre-approved unsecured cards like Airtel Axis Bank. Then close Easy and get the FD lien released, or keep it as a backup. This is a user-reported pattern, not an Axis promise.
Yes, if your goal is a first credit file with Axis, you can spare the FD, and you watch movies often. It does that one job well enough.
No, if you want the most limit for your deposit or zero forex. Users prefer FIRST WOW! for that. And if you already qualify for an unsecured card, skip the FD route entirely.
