The City Union Bank SBI Card PRIME charges ₹2,999 plus GST as a joining fee and the same ₹2,999 again at renewal. SBI Card waives the renewal fee if you spend ₹3L in the previous year, which is about ₹25,000 a month. If your card spend sits below that, treat ₹2,999 as a real yearly cost that your rewards have to clear first.
Things to Keep in Mind
Birthday spends are considered for transactions done one day prior, on the day of, and one day after the birthday.
Reward points are not applicable on Fuel transactions.
10 Reward Points on Dining, Groceries, Departmental stores and Movies is limited at 7500 Reward Points per month.
20 Reward Points on Birthday spends is limited at 2000 Reward Points per year.
20 Reward Points on Utility Bill payments via Standing Instruction is limited at 3000 Reward Points per month.
