The IndianOil HDFC Bank Credit Card charges ₹500 plus GST as a joining fee and the same ₹500 again at renewal. The first year fee is currently being waived on new approvals. HDFC Bank waives the renewal fee if you spend ₹50,000 in the previous year, which is about ₹4,167 a month. If your card spend sits below that, treat ₹500 as a real yearly cost that your rewards have to clear first.
Reward caps, lounge rules, and fee waivers vary by issuer. Confirm on the bank's official page.
Spend multipliers and exclusions change with promotions.
