Axis Airtel Bank Credit CardThe joining and annual fees are ₹750 each, plus applicable GST. A ₹90,000 renewal waiver is also offered, but confirm with the live MITC and your offer letter.
Standard Chartered markets this card with 5% cashback on fuel, telephone, and utilities. But once the fuel surcharge and GST are put on the statement, the effective cashback is closer to 3.89% on fuel.
Also, with the ₹200-a-month fuel cashback ceiling, you get nothing after about ₹4,000 of eligible fuel in a month.
The card also offers 5% cashback on phone bills (capped at ₹200 per month) and 5% on utility bills (capped at ₹100 per month) when paid through Billdesk or StanChart Bill Pay.
If you refill at mixed oil companies (not really BPCL, HPCL or any loyalist), you can go for this card. It's good for under ₹4,000 a month in fuel fill-ups of ≤₹2,000 each. And if you cross the ₹90,000 waiver without stretching or are a Premium Banking customer, you're getting an essentially fee-free card.
Keep the Super Value Titanium card as a secondary fuel-and-bills card. Use it to max the ₹200 fuel cashback band and the small phone/utility buckets.
