Frequently Asked Questions

₹499 + GST, with no joining fee. The welcome points need the annual fee paid by its due date.

Is this a DMI Finance loan?

No. This is an RBL Bank credit card co-branded with DMI Finance. It is not a DMI personal loan, an EMI at checkout, or a credit line inside Google Pay or another app. Most of what you will find online about "DMI Finance" is about those loans, including many complaints about credit report enquiries. Those are about DMI's lending products, not this card.

The card itself is a plain, low-fee RBL points card. Its value comes from a few spend milestones and a monthly movie offer, not from the base rate.

What it earns, and where it stops

  • 2 Reward Points per ₹100 online and 1 point per ₹100 offline.
  • Regular points are capped at 500 per billing cycle. You reach that at ₹25,000 of online spend.
  • Spend ₹50,000 in a quarter and you get 2,000 bonus points. Over a year that can add 8,000 points.
  • At ₹2 lakh of spend you get a ₹500 Amazon voucher, and at ₹3 lakh a ₹200 Swiggy voucher. Our record does not say over what period, so check the MITC.

RBL does not state a point's rupee value in our record, so we cannot give you a percentage. What we can say is that ₹50,000 of online spend earns about 1,000 points on its own, and the quarterly milestone adds 2,000 more, so the milestone is worth twice the base points.

The ₹5,000 movie offer

Spend ₹5,000 on the card in a month and you unlock a buy-one-get-one on BookMyShow, worth up to ₹200. Use it every month and that is up to ₹2,400 a year. You also get a ₹200 BookMyShow voucher on activation, and a fuel benefit of up to ₹100, which we read as a surcharge waiver; check the band in the MITC.

The fee

There is no joining fee. The annual fee is ₹499 + GST, about ₹589. The 2,000 welcome points need you to use the card within 30 days and pay the annual membership fee by its due date, so expect the ₹499 in year one. Our record does not confirm a spend-based waiver. RBL discloses that it shares revenue with DMI Finance on this card.

No lounge benefit is listed, and the card is on Visa or Mastercard, so it does not work on UPI.

Who this card makes sense for

It fits someone who spends about ₹50,000 a quarter, watches a film most months and wants a low-fee RBL card. Since we have no user reviews of the card itself, treat it as untested. If you want no fee at all, RBL's PaisaBazaar Duet is free. And whatever you hold, read the lender name on any DMI loan or credit line offer before you accept it.
