Zomato + District + Blinkit discounts share a single cumulative cap of ₹2,000 per calendar month.

Preferred partner cashback is capped at ₹1,000 per month.

On ixigo, 4% is instant discount via coupon code IXIGOSBI and remaining 1% is statement cashback.

Eternal's page states that early access is closed.

Discounts and cashback exclude fuel, wallet and prepaid-card loads, gift cards and vouchers, cash advances, rent, government and utility payments, education fees, insurance, jewellery, gaming, EMI and Flexipay transactions, card dues and fees, baby food and feeding essentials, tobacco and Paan Corner products.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Eternal SBI Card gives a 10% instant discount on Zomato, District and Blinkit beauty and electronics. Its Zomato, District and Blinkit discounts share a ₹2,000 cap each month.

The ₹3,500 ceiling, and who actually reaches it

The Eternal SBI Card pays out at three capped levels each month:

  • ₹2,000 in instant discounts on Zomato, District and Blinkit, combined.
  • ₹1,000 in cashback at partner brands.
  • ₹500 in 1% cashback on everything else.

Add those up and the most you can get back is ₹3,500 a month, or ₹42,000 a year. That is the number in every launch headline. Getting there takes heavy spending across all three buckets, so for most people the more useful question is what a normal month earns.

The card costs ₹499 + GST a year, and SBI reverses the renewal fee once you spend ₹2 lakh in a year. It was launched on 15 October 2026 by SBI Card and Eternal, the parent company of Zomato, Blinkit and District. It comes on Mastercard and RuPay.

How the discount actually lands

The Zomato, District and Blinkit benefit is an instant discount at checkout, not points that arrive later:

  • Zomato and District: 10% off.
  • Blinkit beauty and electronics: 10% off.
  • The rest of Blinkit, mainly groceries: 5% off.
  • Bistro orders are also covered.

All of this shares the ₹2,000 monthly cap. EMI purchases on these apps get nothing, and transactions under ₹100 earn no cashback anywhere on the card.

Outside the Eternal apps, the card pays 5% cashback with partner brands, capped at ₹1,000 a month:

  • Uber, Urban Company and Apollo 24|7 get 5% cashback.
  • ixigo works differently: you get 4% off instantly with the coupon code IXIGOSBI, and the remaining 1% comes back as cashback.

Every other eligible spend earns 1%, capped at ₹500 a month. That includes UPI payments to merchants, which you can make on the RuPay variant. The cashback posts within two working days of your statement.

A ₹34,000 month on the card

  • ₹8,000 on Zomato and District: ₹800 off
  • ₹2,000 on Blinkit beauty and electronics: ₹200 off
  • ₹6,000 on Blinkit groceries: ₹300 off
  • ₹3,000 on Uber and Urban Company: ₹150 back
  • ₹15,000 on everything else: ₹150 back

That comes to ₹1,600 a month, about 4.7% of what you spent. Over a year it is around ₹19,200, and at roughly ₹4 lakh of annual spend, the ₹499 fee is reversed as well.

What earns nothing

  • Excluded spends: fuel, rent, insurance, utilities, education, jewellery, gaming, government payments, wallet loads, gift and prepaid card loads, and EMI purchases earn no cashback.
  • Bills: paying by standing instruction or Fetch & Pay earns nothing either, so this is not a bill-payment card.
  • Fuel: you get a 1% surcharge waiver on ₹500 to ₹4,000 fills, up to ₹200 per statement cycle, but no cashback.
  • Lounge: none listed.
  • Forex: our launch coverage puts the markup at 3.5%, but SBI's T&C booklet does not state it, so check the MITC before you spend abroad.

The extras

  • Zomato Gold: a 6-month membership when you activate the card.
  • District movies: one buy-one-get-one ticket a month, up to ₹200 off the second ticket.

Early holders on r/CreditCardsIndia mostly talk about the Zomato discount and the Gold membership. The more common complaint is about getting the card at all: the first phase was limited to 5,000 cards, and interest is registered through the Zomato, Blinkit or District app. Phased applications opened on 22 October 2026.

Should Eternal be your food card?

Yes, if you spend ₹10,000 or more a month across Zomato, Blinkit and District. Instant 10% on food delivery beats most cashback cards, and the fee pays for itself.

No, if most of your money goes elsewhere. Outside its partners the card is a 1% card capped at ₹500. Pair it with another card for rent, fuel, travel and anything spent abroad.
