Who Super Elite is actually for

Super Elite suits one person: a Flipkart Plus member who shops on Flipkart every month and already spends SuperCoins at checkout. If that is not you, the name oversells it, and users say so loudly.

Searching for "Flipkart Axis credit card"? Most Reddit posts and reviews under that name are about the standard Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card, which pays cashback to your statement. This page is Super Elite, which pays Flipkart SuperCoins instead.

What "Super Elite" gets you, in coins

• An additional 12 SuperCoins per ₹100 on Flipkart, for Flipkart Plus members only.
• 500 SuperCoins when you activate the card.
• Nothing on fuel, Flipkart gift cards, EMI transactions or purchases converted to EMI later.

Spend ₹5,000 a month on Flipkart as a Plus member and you collect 600 extra coins a month, or 7,200 a year on ₹60,000 of orders. We do not turn that into a percentage. What a SuperCoin is worth depends on what you buy with it and on Flipkart's per-order limits, and neither is confirmed in our data. Axis's base earn rate on non-Flipkart spends is also not in our verified data, so check the T&Cs before you plan around it.

Coins, not cash: the complaint that never goes away

In the 15 threads we read, the top complaint (12 threads) is simple: rewards arrive as SuperCoins, not as statement credit. Users also report a cap on how many coins you can apply per order, so a large balance takes several orders to use. Beyond Flipkart, users mention Cleartrip as one of the few places to spend them.

Eight threads say the "Super Elite" name promises premium perks that are not there. Our data shows no confirmed lounge access for this card, and the standard Flipkart Axis card lost its lounge visits on 20 June 2025, so do not count on any.

The one thing users do credit it for: approval can be easier than other Axis cards, and some took it as a way into Axis after earlier rejections.

The ₹500 fee and the ₹2 lakh waiver

Some pages call this card lifetime free. It is not. You pay ₹500 to join and ₹500 a year from year two, about ₹590 with GST. Axis waives the annual fee if you spend above ₹2 lakh in the year, roughly ₹16,700 a month. Axis also updated the terms for its Flipkart cards on 28 August 2026, so read the current T&Cs before applying.

Can you switch to the standard card?

People ask this often. There is no published switch rule in our data. If you ask Axis, find out whether it is a conversion or a new application, whether your card number changes, and what happens to the SuperCoins you already have.

So, should you take Super Elite?

Take it if you are a Plus member, shop on Flipkart every month and genuinely use SuperCoins. Otherwise, the standard Flipkart Axis card pays real cashback for a similar fee, and a card like the SBI Cashback Card pays cash across most online shops.
