The pharmacy reward rate conflicts within CardInsider: 20 points per ₹200 is supported by BankBazaar, while a later CardInsider paragraph states 10 points per ₹200.
Lounge access is disputed: CardInsider says no lounge access, while BankBazaar states 2 domestic visits per quarter.
The ₹499 first-year fee is stated by BankBazaar for cards onboarded on or after 28 August 2024; earlier cards may have fees applicable at issuance.
Health, consultation and fitness benefits are app or partner based.

Wellness Plus Credit CardNot Wellness; its current page lists no lounges. Wellness Plus lists 2 domestic visits a quarter for ₹1,499 + GST.
For cards onboarded from 28 August 2024, YES Bank Wellness costs ₹499 + GST to join and ₹499 + GST a year. Cards issued before that date may be on the fees that applied when they were issued.
The benefit list has changed too, or at least got clearer. Older listings and many reviews credit this card with six free fitness sessions a month and domestic lounge visits. YES Bank's current Wellness page lists neither. What it does list is a complimentary health check-up, 24x7 doctor consultations, a digital health assessment, accelerated points at chemists and a ₹300 Amazon voucher.
If a review mentions gym passes or lounges, it is almost certainly describing YES Bank Wellness Plus, the ₹1,499 sibling. Union Bank's JCB Wellness card is a different product altogether.
All rates are per ₹200:
YES Bank does not give us a point value for this card, so we will not quote a percentage. Here is a guide. A household spending ₹6,000 a month at the chemist earns 600 points a month, 7,200 a year. On Wellness Plus, catalogue and voucher redemptions are reported at ₹0.10 a point. If the same holds here, those 7,200 points are worth about ₹720, comfortably more than the ₹589 fee with GST.
Two cautions. The ₹200 unit means small purchases earn little or nothing. And the pharmacy rate only applies when the merchant codes as a chemist; hospital billing counters may not.
The main complaint users raise is that the health benefits run through partner apps that are hard to use. Our data does not name the partner, so ask YES Bank customer care which app handles check-ups and consultations before you need them. Book the annual check-up early in your card year, and keep screenshots if a booking fails, since users also complain about slow customer support.
The fuel surcharge waiver is 1% on ₹400 to ₹5,000 transactions, capped at ₹250. We have no confirmed fee waiver, so budget ₹499 + GST every year.
Wellness is a one-job card. If someone at home needs medicines every month and you buy them from a local chemist, the pharmacy points could cover the ₹499 fee if a point is worth about ₹0.10, and the check-up and consultations are a bonus if you use them.
If most of your medicine spend is at Apollo, users prefer the Apollo SBI Card. If you order online, a flat cashback card is simpler. And if you want gym sessions or lounges, this is the wrong card. User sentiment on Wellness is thin and often mixed with Wellness Plus, so treat it as a rough guide. More on the issuer: YES Bank credit cards.
