Frequently Asked Questions

Our record lists no reward grid, and users report no points, cashback or welcome bonus on the card.

A month of supplier payments, worked out

Say your business pays ₹2 lakh to suppliers this month on the StarBiz Visa card, drawn from your Federal Bank Overdraft or Cash Credit limit. Here is what comes back, based on everything we have: nothing. Our record lists no earn rates, and users say the card has no reward points, cashback, welcome bonus or lounge access. Over a year you pay about ₹325, the ₹275 + GST fee in our record.

That is the honest frame for this card. It is a way to use your working-capital limit by card, not a card that pays you to use it. Federal Bank's StarBiz page blocked our October 2026 check, so none of these figures is bank-confirmed.

What users actually like about it

The comments about StarBiz in our sentiment data are few, but they agree on two things:

  • Spending sits directly on the business OD or CC account, so there is no separate card bill to reconcile.
  • Daily limits of up to ₹3 lakh, depending on the sanctioned facility, make large vendor payments easy.

The complaints are just as clear: paying a fee for zero return, and the fact that you cannot get the card without an active OD or CC facility with Federal Bank.

Visa or the RuPay version?

Federal also lists the Fed StarBiz RuPay at the same fee in our record. Choose RuPay if you want to pay suppliers through UPI, since Visa cards cannot be used for credit card UPI in India. Choose Visa if you pay foreign vendors or travel for work, where Visa is accepted more widely. Ask for the forex markup first; our only figure is from an older dataset we do not trust.

Should your business hold StarBiz Visa?

Hold it only if you already run a Federal Bank working-capital facility and want card payments from it. For everyday personal spending, users prefer Federal's Visa Signet, and for lounges and rewards, Visa Celesta. If you want rewards on business spends, look at a business card from another bank. Ask the branch for the fee, any waiver and the forex markup in writing before you sign.
