The Standard Chartered Ultimate Credit Card charges ₹5,000 plus GST as a joining fee and the same ₹5,000 again at renewal. Standard Chartered waives the renewal fee if you spend ₹4L in the previous year, which is about ₹33,333 a month. If your card spend sits below that, treat ₹5,000 as a real yearly cost that your rewards have to clear first.
Duty-free cashback capped at ₹1,000 per month
Priority Pass international lounge visit requires ₹20,000 spend in the previous month
Utilities, supermarkets, insurance, property management, schools, government and rental payments earn only 3 RP/₹150
Rent processing fee of 1% + taxes on MCC 6513 effective 2 Apr 2023
International lounge benefit is conditional on previous month spend threshold
