Visa Celesta Credit CardNo. Federal Bank's Visa and Mastercard Celesta cards are lifetime free. IndusInd Celesta costs ₹25,000 + GST to join and ₹5,000 + GST a year.
This page is about IndusInd Bank's Celesta card. It is not Federal Bank's Visa Celesta or Mastercard Celesta, which are lifetime free and are what most Reddit threads mean when they say "Celesta".
The number that decides IndusInd Celesta is its joining cost: ₹25,000 + GST, or ₹29,500. After that you pay ₹5,000 + GST, about ₹5,900, every year. Our older card data, and one Reddit user, put the renewal waiver at ₹10 lakh of yearly spend, about ₹83,300 a month. We have not confirmed that on the IndusInd page, so check the MITC. For most people, both fees are real costs.
IndusInd's Celesta product page did not show an earn rate when we checked in October 2026. Our CMS lists 1 reward point per ₹100 on general spends and 3 points per ₹100 on hotels and flights. IndusInd does not state a point value in what we hold. One Reddit post argues that Celesta points are worth ₹0.75, not ₹1. At that value, general spends would return about 0.75% and travel about 2.25%. Treat both as estimates until IndusInd confirms them.
Users who were offered the card say it came with gift vouchers worth around ₹25,000 on paying the joining fee. The bank page we checked did not list a welcome benefit, so get any voucher offer in writing before you pay.
Two benefits changed this year:
International lounge access is not listed in our verified data. Users have also asked about the BookMyShow buy one get one offer, and one says they struggled to actually book it.
The most discussed IndusInd Celesta thread is a user who says they were told the card would be lifetime free, were charged anyway, and fought the bank through the RBI Ombudsman for months before winning. If you are offered Celesta on a call, ask for the fee, the waiver, the welcome vouchers and the lounge spend threshold in an email before you share any OTP.
Apply only if the vouchers on offer cover most of the ₹29,500, you fly domestically often enough to meet the new lounge spend criteria, and you would use the monthly golf.
Skip it if you want lounge access without a big upfront fee. The IndusInd Bank Tiger Credit Card is a cheaper IndusInd route, and at least one user weighing IndusInd's premium range compared Celesta with Pinnacle and Indulge. Sentiment on this exact card is thin, so weigh these reports lightly.
