Cashback SBI CardA one-time ₹15,000 + GST, about ₹17,700 in total. There is no annual fee after that.
Many people land on this page after an IndusInd call offering to upgrade them from Legend, EazyDiner Signature or another card to Pinnacle World for a one-time ₹15,000 + GST. So start there.
Pinnacle has no annual fee after that one payment. It earns 2.5 points per ₹100 online and adds golf. But with GST the upfront cost is about ₹17,700, and users who compare the two are clear: do not pay ₹15,000 to leave the IndusInd Legend Credit Card unless the joining fee is waived, or unless you specifically want the IndusInd Exclusive savings account that users say Pinnacle unlocks.
Users say the fee comes back as welcome vouchers, but that the vouchers they actually want, such as Amazon Pay, are capped at around ₹10,000, while the GST of about ₹2,700 is never returned. On those numbers you start roughly ₹7,700 behind. Some users also report being billed the joining fee after a telemarketing call without giving clear consent. If you take the upgrade, get the voucher list and the fee in writing first.
Several users say relationship managers have offered Pinnacle with the joining fee waived. If that is your offer, most of the maths above disappears.
IndusInd does not publish a point value, so we do not quote a firm percentage. Users estimate the online rate at about 1.8% to 2.5% depending on how they redeem. On ₹30,000 of online spend a month, that is 750 points, which users would value at roughly ₹540 to ₹750.
International lounges dropped to one Priority Pass visit per calendar quarter, outside India, after changes effective 13 March 2025. Domestic lounges now depend on spend: tracking began on 1 April 2026, with access from the July 2026 quarter. Users cite ₹1.5 lakh in a quarter as the requirement. Check the IndusInd lounge access list and terms before you travel.
The praise in Reddit threads is mostly not about the card. Users say holding Pinnacle lets you open or convert an IndusInd Exclusive savings account without the usual ₹2 lakh average balance, which comes with a zero-forex debit card and free international ATM withdrawals. Confirm this with your branch, because it is user-reported, not on the card page.
Other perks: BookMyShow buy one get one with up to three free tickets a month (users say the daily quota runs out early), and one complimentary golf game and one lesson each month.
Yes, if it comes with the joining fee waived, or if the Exclusive account and its zero-forex debit card are worth ₹17,700 to you. Online shoppers who play golf will get the most from the card itself.
No, if you would pay full price for rewards alone, or if lounge access is the main reason. Users who want a lower barrier often prefer the IndusInd Bank Tiger Credit Card. For a longer holder view, read our IndusInd Pinnacle review.
