Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, there is no joining or annual fee. Keep the written approval that says lifetime free, especially if the card came as an upgrade from another IndusInd card.

Who EazyDiner IndusInd Bank Platinum is really for

EazyDiner Platinum suits someone who eats out once to three times a month at restaurants listed on EazyDiner, with bills of ₹2,000 to ₹3,000, and wants a card that costs nothing to hold. If you mostly order in, or want lounges and movie offers, it does very little for you.

This is the free Platinum card, not the paid EazyDiner Credit Card that users call "Signature", and not IndusInd's separate Platinum RuPay card. Reddit threads mix all three, so check the exact name on your offer.

The ₹500 cap, three times a month

The headline benefit is an extra 20% off when you book and pay through the EazyDiner app at a partner restaurant. Two limits shape what you actually save:

  • The discount stops at ₹500 per transaction, which you reach on a ₹2,500 bill.
  • It works only 3 times a month.

So the most you can save is ₹1,500 a month. A realistic month looks like this: one ₹2,500 dinner saves ₹500, and a ₹1,500 lunch saves ₹300. That is ₹800 back on ₹4,000 of dining, at no fee. A direct swipe at the counter does not trigger it; booking and payment both have to go through the app. Users say the final bill often comes out lower than on Swiggy Dineout or Zomato, because EazyDiner does not add a booking fee.

You also get 3 months of EazyDiner Prime, listed at ₹1,095, for 25% to 50% off at participating Prime restaurants, plus 500 EazyPoints. Check the renewal price before the trial ends.

Points are a side dish

The card earns 2 reward points per ₹100, and IndusInd's own example values a point at ₹0.20. That is about 0.4%. Our record also lists 2,000 bonus points on ₹30,000 of spend in each 90-day block, roughly ₹400; confirm it on the bank page before you plan around it. Keep a different card for groceries, bills and shopping.

Already hold an IndusInd co-brand?

Users report being turned down for EazyDiner Platinum because they already hold an IndusInd co-brand card such as Tiger, or being told to close it first. IndusInd does not publish this rule in our data, so ask in writing before you close anything. Others get the card as a lifetime-free upgrade from IndusInd Legend; ask whether it replaces your current card or comes as a second one.

Many applicants also describe WhatsApp messages from people asking for PAN and documents. Start from the official IndusInd or EazyDiner page yourself, verify anyone who contacts you through IndusInd's official number, and never share an OTP.

Monzy's verdict on EazyDiner Platinum

Worth holding as a free second card if EazyDiner covers the restaurants you already visit. The paid Signature card at ₹2,999 a year only pays off if you dine out often with large bills. If most of your food spend is delivery, the Swiggy HDFC card fits better.
