Frequently Asked Questions

The paid card is not lifetime free; it costs ₹2,999 + GST a year with no waiver stated. The EazyDiner IndusInd Platinum is the lifetime-free version, with a smaller 20% discount.

The number that decides it: a ₹4,000 bill

The paid IndusInd EazyDiner card gives you an extra 25% off when you pay a restaurant bill through the EazyDiner app, up to ₹1,000 per transaction. So the card does its best work on bills of about ₹4,000. A ₹4,000 dinner for two gets the full ₹1,000 off. A ₹10,000 dinner still gets ₹1,000. A ₹1,500 lunch gets ₹375.

Set that against the fee of ₹2,999 + GST, about ₹3,539 a year. If you would not buy EazyDiner Prime anyway, you need roughly three or four ₹4,000 dinners a year to break even. Two a month and you are ahead by over ₹20,000.

This page covers the paid EazyDiner Credit Card, which Reddit usually calls "EazyDiner Signature". The lifetime-free EazyDiner IndusInd Platinum is a different card with smaller discounts.

The ₹2,000 and ₹3,000 split

Monthly dining discounts stop at ₹5,000, and only part of that is yours by default:

  • ₹2,000 a month is always available.
  • Another ₹3,000 opens up only if you spent ₹30,000 on non-dining purchases with the card the month before.

If you will not route ₹30,000 of other spends through an IndusInd card, plan on ₹2,000 a month. Users say restaurant coverage is good in metros and thinner in smaller cities, so check your usual places are on EazyDiner first.

What the 2025 devaluation took away

A June 2025 thread with over 140 comments called the card "dead": users say airport lounge access and BookMyShow benefits were removed, monthly discounts were capped and the renewal fee went up to about ₹3,000 + GST. Our current data for the card lists no lounge or movie benefits, which matches. Many holders say they downgraded to the free Platinum version after that.

What is still there: 12 months of EazyDiner Prime, which renews when you pay the fee, plus 2,000 bonus EazyPoints and a ₹7,500 The Postcard Hotel voucher on joining. Points are a side benefit: 10 per ₹100 on hotels, travel, shopping and entertainment, 4 per ₹100 on other spends, and nothing on dining or fuel. IndusInd does not state a point value in the data we hold, so we cannot give you an honest percentage.

Before you apply

Users report that IndusInd turns down a second co-brand card if you already hold one, such as the Tiger card. Ask before you apply. Five threads also describe EazyDiner agents collecting documents on WhatsApp; apply through IndusInd's own site where you can.

So, is the paid EazyDiner card worth ₹2,999?

Yes, if you eat at upscale restaurants or hotel buffets in a metro at least twice a month and pay through EazyDiner. The ₹1,000-per-bill discount pays for the fee quickly.

No, if you dine out casually two or three times a month. The free Platinum card covers that. If you mostly order in, the Swiggy HDFC Bank Credit Card suits you better.
