Frequently Asked Questions

Divaa does: 8 domestic visits a year, 2 per quarter, and 2 international visits a year. Lounge rules on other Union Bank cards differ, so check each card's page.

₹6,000 of salon vouchers on a ₹499 card

The number that decides this card is ₹1,500. That is the Lakme Salon voucher Union Bank gives Divaa holders once every quarter, up to ₹6,000 a year. The card has no joining fee and costs ₹499 + GST a year after that, about ₹589. If you already go to Lakme, one voucher covers the fee more than twice over. If you never do, the card is far weaker than it looks.

Divaa is Union Bank of India's lifestyle card designed for women, on RuPay, so you can link it to UPI. Check eligibility with the bank, as our data does not state a women-only rule.

Points are not the reason to hold it

You earn 2 reward points per ₹100, and each point is worth ₹0.25. That is 0.5% back. ₹20,000 a month earns 400 points, or ₹100. Over a year that is about ₹1,200, less than one quarter's salon voucher.

UPI spends earn at the same rate in our data. Fuel gets a 1% surcharge waiver, capped at ₹100 per billing cycle.

What else comes with Divaa

  • Lounges: 8 domestic visits a year (2 per quarter) and 2 international visits a year. That is generous for a ₹499 card.
  • Quarterly offers: with Nykaa, Flipkart, Myntra, ixigo, BookMyShow and BigBasket. Values are not stated in our data, and the bank says some need sign-up on the RuPay portal.
  • Insurance: the bank's own page describes it two ways, once as ₹2 lakh accidental cover plus an extra ₹10 lakh, and once as up to ₹10 lakh personal accident and disability cover. Ask which applies, and check your first statements for any premium you did not agree to.

Users also mention Swiggy One, a health check-up and metro use through NCMC. None of these are in our bank-checked data, so ask before counting on them.

Getting Union Bank Divaa is the hard part

We found only one Reddit thread about Divaa itself, so treat this as a thin picture. The wider Union Bank threads point to one theme: applying usually means a branch visit and paper forms, and the app can be slow. Start at your own Union Bank branch if you have one, carry PAN, address proof and income proof, and ask for a reference number.

The renewal fee waiver is not confirmed. Users report ₹30,000 of yearly spend, an older dataset says ₹50,000. Ask the branch.

Who Divaa suits, in the end

Yes, if you will use the Lakme vouchers and a few lounge visits, and you do not mind a branch-led process. It is a good second card for those perks.

No, if you want rewards on everyday spends or a smooth online experience. Bank of Baroda's BOBCARD TIARA is the closest lifestyle alternative, and Union Bank's own RuPay Select Credit Card is the sibling to compare within the same bank.
