ABC Biz Credit Card
AU Small Finance Bank
Joining Fee:₹49/yr
An AU Bank credit card can look free and still cost you, because so many of AU's benefits sit behind paid features, spend gates or limited-period offers. If the lineup feels confusing, that is a fair reaction. This page walks you through what AU's free cards really include, which lounge visits come with conditions, and the spend you need before a paid AU card earns back its fee.

AU Small Finance Bank sells a long ladder of cards, from ₹100 starters to a ₹7,999 travel card. Most people judge them on the headline, and the headline is rarely the whole deal. Three things decide whether an AU card is worth it for you.
What "free" includes. AU LIT has no joining or annual fee, but almost every benefit is a paid feature priced per quarter, from ₹49, renewing on its own. A ₹199 feature costs ₹796 a year. If you would not earn well above that in its category, skip it.
What a point is worth. AU often does not publish a rupee value. On AU Bank Vetta, our record splits the earn into 4, 2 and 1 points per ₹100, and AU does not say what a point buys. Zenith+ is an exception: 1 point is ₹1.
Getting approved. The loudest complaints are about the process: verification failures, holds and template replies. Users also report AU often allows one card per customer, so pick the one you want first.
ixigo AU is lifetime free "for a limited period", per AU's FAQ; the standard fee is ₹999, waived at ₹1 lakh a year. Its real job is abroad: 0% forex markup, so a ₹2 lakh trip avoids about ₹7,000 of markup at a typical 3.5%. At home AU states 2.5% on eligible spends, so ₹30,000 a month earns about ₹750. Redeeming costs ₹99 + GST each time.
AU KOSMO is a free RuPay card for UPI through the Kiwi app. It is not the YES Bank Kiwi card; different banks issue them. AU prints no rate, and users report about 1.5% on Scan & Pay. Our Kiwi review covers the YES side. Compare other banks in our lifetime free directory.
Most AU lounge visits carry a spend gate or are railway lounges:
Using Priority Pass inside India costs $35 + taxes a visit on ixigo AU, so keep it for trips abroad. See our lounge access directory for other banks.
They are separate cards. Base AU Zenith costs ₹7,999 + GST, charges 3.49% forex and gives 2 domestic and 2 international visits a quarter, domestic only after ₹50,000 in the previous quarter. AU Zenith+ costs ₹4,999 + GST, charges 0.99% and gives 4 + 4. On ₹1 lakh abroad, Zenith+ costs ₹990 in markup against ₹3,500 on a 3.5% card, and earns 2,000 points worth ₹2,000. Its ₹5,000 welcome benefit leaves year one at about ₹899 net.
Only if AU gave it to you lifetime free, in writing. At ₹7,999 + GST, Zenith+ costs less and does more for travellers.
Not on standard terms. It costs ₹2,999 + GST, waived in year one on ₹40,000 within 90 days and later on ₹1.5 lakh a year; users report free offers through CRED and agents, so get any offer in writing.
AU KOSMO and AU SPONT are RuPay cards you can link to UPI, and Zenith and Zenith+ have RuPay variants. See our RuPay credit cards directory for other banks.
Apply on AU's website, or through a partner app such as ixigo or Kiwi. Keep your address consistent across PAN, Aadhaar and the form. Our AU Bank issuer guide covers eligibility.
This is my honest read, not formal financial advice. AU changes features and fees often, so check the MITC before you apply.
