CRED IndusInd Bank RuPay Credit Card

Picking an IndusInd credit card is confusing, and not just because there are 19 of them. The bank often lets you hold only one, telecallers push paid upgrades, and the lounge rules changed twice in two years. This page sorts it out: which cards are free, which ones earn back their fee, how the 2026 lounge rules work, and the one IndusInd card we would pick for travel, dining, UPI and fuel, with the rupee maths.

At IndusInd, the free cards are better value than the paid ones, and the order you apply in matters. Users report that IndusInd usually allows one primary credit card per person; some say they closed lifetime-free IndusInd cards before IndusInd Tiger came through. The bank does not publish this rule in our data, but if you want Tiger or EazyDiner, apply for it before accepting any free card offer.
Then do the points maths. Tiger pays 1, 2, 4 and then 6 points per ₹100 as card-year spend crosses ₹1 lakh, ₹2.5 lakh and ₹5 lakh, at ₹0.40 a point. Read as incremental bands (check IndusInd's terms), ₹3 lakh a year earns 6,000 points, about ₹2,400, or 0.8%. Cash redemption is capped at 5,000 points a month on Tiger and 2,500 on the Platinum cards, where users also report a ₹149 + GST fee per cash redemption; cash out in batches. Fuel earns nothing on most IndusInd cards. For the bank's history, see our IndusInd Bank credit cards guide.
Many IndusInd cards arrive through a phone call. Pinnacle is the usual pitch: ₹15,000 + GST once, about ₹17,700, then no annual fee. It earns 2.5 points per ₹100 on e-commerce, but users say the vouchers they actually want are capped near ₹10,000, so you start roughly ₹7,700 behind. IndusInd Legend, also sold as Signature Legend, lost its complimentary lounge access on 7 March 2025. Our record shows a ₹5,000 joining fee, while many users got it lifetime free. Keep it if free; do not pay for it today. Our IndusInd Pinnacle review has more. Get the fee, GST and voucher list by email first.
Six cards have no joining or annual fee in our records: Tiger, Platinum RuPay, EazyDiner Platinum, Platinum Visa, Platinum Mastercard and ePay American Express. Platinum RuPay earns 2 points per ₹100 on UPI; at the ₹0.35 a point users report, ₹10,000 by UPI and ₹5,000 swiped is about ₹88 a month. EazyDiner Platinum gives an extra 20% off up to ₹500 a bill, 3 times a month, when you pay in the EazyDiner app. For Platinum Visa, the bank mentions "select fee plans", so check your offer. More free cards sit in our lifetime free credit cards directory.
Domestic access is now spend-based: tracking started on 1 April 2026, and access depends on it from the July 2026 quarter. Most thresholds are not published. Tiger is the only free IndusInd card with lounges: 2 domestic visits a quarter and 2 Priority Pass visits a year. Users say you must request the Priority Pass after activation. Read IndusInd's 2026 lounge access requirements, or compare our lounge access credit cards directory.
For most people, IndusInd Tiger. It is lifetime free, gives domestic and Priority Pass lounge visits, and charges 1.5% forex.
Only if the joining fee is waived. With GST you pay about ₹17,700, users say the useful vouchers are capped near ₹10,000, and IndusInd publishes no point value for its online earn.
It depends on your offer. Our records show a ₹5,000 joining fee and no annual fee, while many users report getting Legend lifetime free.
No. None of the Platinum Visa, Platinum Mastercard, Platinum RuPay or EazyDiner Platinum cards lists lounge access.
As statement credit or non-cash options such as vouchers, and non-cash is usually worth more. Cash redemption is capped monthly, and users report a ₹149 + GST fee each time.
This is my honest read, not formal financial advice. IndusInd changes terms often, so confirm them in writing before you apply.
